Water Street Studios Interns

Part of Water Street Studios is to develop creative talent on all levels. Part of that is an internship program in which high school and college students work with Water Street Studios in a variety of ways such as assisting with teaching a class, gallery hanging, business operations, and marketing. While our interns are not paid, Water Street Studios offers a unique opportunity to work with established professionals who come from a variety of backgrounds and are eager to share there experiences.

She specializes in hand pulled printmaking techniques and recently attended the 2011 Frogman's Print Workshop with the help of a grant from the Illinois Arts Council. She also attended Tom Huck's 2010 Woodcut Bootcamp. Kimberly lives in North Aurora and enjoys biking to Water Street Studios and to her job at The Olive Mill in Geneva. Her dream is to one day open up her own printshop to teach printmaking and support art in the community.

Gallery Intern - Dillon Roberts

My name is Dillon Roberts.  I am a photography student at Columbia College Chicago, where I am working on obtaining my M.F.A. in photography.  I am mostly a documentary photographer, but I am exploring new possibilities for my craft.  I am interested in travel and seeing every nook and cranny of America.  I live in Bartlett, but work in Geneva at Grams 318.  I love meeting new and interesting people who live in the area.  I love cooking, camping, hiking, and exploration in general.
