the end of the long count on the Mayan Calendar. Is it the end of the world? Or just another false alarm like Y2K? Find out for yourself as Water Street Studios presents the Apocalypse Show. A group of artists have put together their interpretations of the end of the world... and the opening of the show will appropriately take place on what could be humanity's last day.

It's an art show... it's an apocalypse party! Attendees are encouraged to wear costumes and really get in the spirit of the occasion. Be there. After all, you (and everyone else on earth) have nowhere else to be the next day.

The show runs December 21st through the 30th in Water Street's Kane County Chronicle Gallery. Opening Reception to be held on Friday, December 21st, 2012 from 7-10pm.
