Welcome. It's time for summer 2012 registration!




Water Street Studios offers an amazing variety of classes for all ages and experience levels. It is our philosophy that everyone from preschoolers to seniors can use art in their lives. Classes run on a trimester schedule and are staffed by professional and working artists. We look forward to seeing you around the Studios.

 

How to Register:

Complete the registration form and mail or deliver to us. Please be sure to read and acknowledge the class policies on the second page.

  • Registration questions? Please call 630.761.9977, email us by using the link on the right or stop by. Please call for office hours. Water Street Studios is located at 160 S. Water Street, just south of the corner of First Street and Water Street in the heart of downtown Batavia, Illinois. We are less than one block southeast of the Batavia Public Library.
  • Please make checks payable to: BAA/WSS (Batavia Artist Association/Water Street Studios).

    Please note: Water Street Studios (WSS) makes reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities to participate. Please specify any adaptive equipment, personnel, or other accommodations you need to participate in a program for which you have registered or for any Water Street Studios event.

(All Ages: Best for ages 3 and up accompanied by an adult at all times. Teens welcome with parent permission.)

Admire Amazing Art in the gallery. Be creative and spend quality time with the ones you love.

Agenda: All about Art. Activities include: drawing, coloring, pasting & even painting.

□ Atmosphere: Aspiring Artists Family program.
□ Admission: FREE
□ Sundays: 1-3p

 

Community Outreach Program:

Through generous support, the Water Street Studios Community Outreach Program has fully funded scholarships for art classes for 25 children since the Fall of 2010. Through these scholarships, students without financial means to pay have explored welding, photography, ceramics, drawing, painting, printmaking and mixed media. In addition to these funded classes, Water Street Studios also offers Art Flow, our afterschool art program. Art Flow provides art activities to pre-K through 8th grade students at Batavia Apartments and reaches area high school students every Thursday afternoon at Water Street Studios. All of these programs exemplify our mission to bring art education and appreciation to all residents of the Fox Valley area.
